316L Surgical Steel 18G Pick Your Spike Length Horseshoe Ring

Gauge Size: 18g (1.0mm).

Please note that 18 gauge is *THINNER* than 16 gauge. However, 16g is considered "standard" and much more commonly used for septum and daith piercings.

Materials: Hypoallergenic 100% 316L surgical steel externally threaded horseshoe ring and spikes. This piece is completely waterproof, and a great choice for everyday wear!

Diameter: Choose between 5/16" (8mm), 3/8" (10mm) or 1/2" (12mm).

Spike Length: Choose between 3mm, 4mm or 6mm.

Always be gentle with your horseshoe ring when you are twisting on the spikes, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening them. If you continue twisting the spikes past the point where they reach a soft, natural stopping place at the end of their threading, you will most likely damage the jewelry.

With that being said, all kinds of body jewelry with threading do naturally loosen with daily wear and body movement, especially facial piercings. In order to prevent the spikes from becoming lost, you must regularly and *very gently* tighten them as needed.
