These specimens (Neotibicen canicularis: commonly called the dog-day cicada) were ethically harvested from our own backyard here in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Roanoke, Virginia.
Housed in a charming glass jar with a cork stopper, they bring a whimsical touch to your collection and celebrate the fascinating world of lepidopterology: the study of insects with wings.
Jar size: 20mL
Jar measures 1" (25mm) x 2.3" (58mm).
Please note that each insect is unique and your wing specimen may vary slightly from the listing photos.
