Large Diameter Size Options Black Titanium Plated 16G Horseshoe Ring with Long Spikes

These horseshoe rings are sold individually. Please order a quantity of 2 if you need a pair.

Materials: 316L surgical steel externally threaded horseshoe ring and spikes with a black titanium ion plated finish.

Gauge Size: Standard 16G (1.2mm).
This is the most common gauge size used for septum, daith, cartilage, and helix piercings.

Diameter: 3/8" (10mm), 1/2" (12mm) or 9/16" (14mm).

Spike Length: 1/4" (6mm) or 5/16" (8mm).

Everyone's piercing needs are unique, however if you are going to use this ring for your septum piercing, generally the 5/16" (8mm) diameter size will provide a petite/snug fit against your septum, while 3/8" (10mm) provides a more standard/traditional fit. 1/2" (12mm) provides a larger fit/slightly over-sized fit. The 9/16" (14mm) size generally provides a very bold/over-sized look.

Always be gentle with your ring when you are twisting on the spikes, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening them. If you continue twisting the spikes past the point where they reach a soft, natural stopping place at the end of their threading, you will likely strip the threading and damage your jewelry.

With that being said, all kinds of body jewelry with threading do naturally loosen with daily wear and body movement. In order to prevent the spikes from becoming lost, you should regularly and *very gently* tighten them as needed.

Please avoid wearing any body jewelry with a colored finish/plating, including this barbell, if you have had a prior allergic reaction to plated jewelry or are hypersensitive to non-hypoallergenic metals.

If you need a hypoallergenic option, we recommend this design in plain 316L surgical steel without a colored finish.

Plated Jewelry Care Instructions:

• In order to keep your ion plated jewelry looking like new, do not boil the jewelry or use rubbing alcohol or saline to sanitize them, because these methods can damage the finish.

• To sanitize the jewelry before insertion, please use *only* warm water and antibacterial soap.

• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, body lotion, and any other alcohol based products including mouthwash, or anything abrasive that can damage the finish.

• You should periodically take out your piercing jewelry and very gently scrub the threading with warm water and antibacterial soap to prevent any build up and to keep your piercing free from contaminants, etc.

• Wipe the jewelry with a soft cloth to clean it after use.

Please allow up to *one week* for your of order to get shipped out! Orders with upgraded, Priority shipping will be mailed out within 3 days. As stated, our shop's processing time is between 3-5 business days. All of our orders include USPS tracking information!

It is the buyer's responsibility to provide us with their current, complete and correct shipping address at the time of checkout. However, if you do accidentally provide us with an incorrect shipping address, please send us a message and let us know within 48 hours of placing your order! If you fail to do so and then your package eventually gets returned back to us by the USPS, you will be issued a full refund minus the cost of the shipping label that was generated for your order.
