Gauge Size: Standard 16G (1.2mm).
This is the most common gauge size used for helix, tragus and cartilage piercings.

Bar Length: 1/4" (6mm). 

The cow skull measures approximately 10mm by 10mm. 

Materials: Hypoallergenic 100% 316L surgical steel externally threaded barbell and 3mm ball ending, with black titanium alloy details on the horns and eyes of the cow skull.

Always be gentle with your barbell when you are twisting on the ball ending, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening it.

If you continue twisting the ball past the point where it reaches a soft, natural stopping place at the end of its threading, you will likely strip the threading and damage your jewelry.

With that being said, all kinds of body jewelry with threading do naturally loosen with daily wear and body movement, especially facial piercings. In order to prevent the ball ending from becoming lost, you must regularly and *very gently* tighten it as needed.
