• In order to keep your ion plated jewelry looking like new, please remove the jewelry before bathing, showering, swimming or participating in physical activity.
• Keep the jewelry away from moisture and do not immerse the jewelry in water.
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, body lotion, or other chemicals that can damage the finish.
• Wipe the jewelry with a soft cloth to clean it after use.
To sanitize the jewelry before insertion, please use only warm water and antibacterial soap. Make sure to dry the jewelry after sanitizing. Do not boil the jewelry or use rubbing alcohol or saline, because these methods can damage the finish.

Always be gentle with your labret when you are twisting on the opal head, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening it. If you continue twisting the opal head past the point where it reaches a soft, natural stopping place at the end of its threading, you will most likely dislodge it from the post and damage your jewelry.
