• In order to keep your ion plated jewelry looking like new, please remove the jewelry before bathing, showering, swimming or participating in physical activity.
• Keep the jewelry away from moisture and do not immerse the jewelry in water.
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, body lotion, or other chemicals that can damage the finish.
• Wipe the jewelry with a soft cloth to clean it after use.
To sanitize the jewelry before insertion, please use only warm water and antibacterial soap. Make sure to dry the jewelry after sanitizing. Do not boil the jewelry or use rubbing alcohol or saline, because these methods can damage the finish.

Always be gentle with your barbell when you are twisting on the stone balls, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening them. If you continue twisting the stone balls past the point where they reach a soft, natural stopping place at the end of their threading, you will most likely dislodge them and damage your jewelry. We do sell replacement opal balls in our store if needed.
